Josef Jasper GmbH & Co. KG charged us with coating five large tanks. Parts with diameters of up to 6 m and lengths of up to 18 m, amounting to unit weights of up to 75 tonnes, had to be moved and positioned securely and precisely for this.
The enormous sizes were one core challenge. Another one was the extremely short throughput time of just a few days for a classical three-layer coating system. The necessary short drying times were achieved by our unique open-air extraction and drying system as well. Our larger-than-average state-of-the-art processing halls and hall cranes enable us to complete large projects of this kind.
The release by our internal quality assurance launched loading of the individual tanks on special vehicles that took the large parts to the destination harbour with special transports. The heavy freight went on its way to the end customer by ship.
